Who we are

The KYOCERA AVX Components (Werne) GmbH is the centre of competence for position and speed sensing as well as throttle pedal modules of the Sensing and Control Division of KYOCERA AVX. For more than 40 years, we have been implementing demanding development projects for reputable automotive manufacturers and system partners.

The Werne location represents extensive expertise in product and process development. Series production takes place partly directly in our factory. For the implementation of global projects, we cooperate with the international locations of our division. Thus, we ensure high standards worldwide for our customers, offer central contact persons and high flexibility.

Positionsensors


... to measure where an object is located or how it is moving, and relay this information to machines. For instance, they can detect whether a door is open or shut, or gauge the position of a robot arm. They work with a variety of technologies, such as magnetic fields, light, or electric pulses, depending on their area of application. Such sensors can be found in cars, manufacturing plants, or even in household appliances.

Speed-sensors

... measure how quickly an object is moving, and convert this data into electrical signals. They are used in cars, for instance, to display the driving speed or control systems like ABS and cruise control. They also measure the rotation speed or movement speed of components in machines and production plants. Typical technologies include magnetic fields, light pulses or mechanical measurements.

Driver Requirement Controls

... encompass all systems which the driver uses to purposefully control functions within the vehicle. These include pedals, steering wheel buttons, touchscreens or voice controls. These controls activate important systems such as the drive, air conditioning, lighting or infotainment as needed. They combine comfort with safety and enable intuitive operation while driving.

Industrial Business People
(male/female/diverse)

You get to know commercial processes such as procurement, sales, accounting and personnel management. You plan, negotiate and organise in various departments and become an important link in the company.

Mechatronics Engineer
(m/f/d)

You are learning to combine mechanics, electronics and computer science. This enables you to install, maintain and repair our machines and systems. In doing so, you develop technical solutions and ensure the smooth running of our production.

Tool Mechanic (m/f/d)

You manufacture highly precise tools and moulds for the industry, maintain and repair them. You learn to handle modern machines, like CNC milling, process different materials and implement technical drawings accurately.

Plastic and Rubber Technologist (m/f/d)

In the field of Plastics and Rubber Technology, you will learn to set up, operate, and maintain our production facilities. You oversee the production process, optimising the quality of products, and ensuring an efficient production sequence.

Specialist for Warehouse Logistics (m/f/d)

You receive goods, check deliveries for completeness and quality, and ensure their proper storage. In doing so, you plan and optimise warehouse processes, assemble goods for shipment and coordinate deliveries.

To gain practical experience in your field of study, we mainly offer compulsory internships prescribed by the course of study.
Here we prefer both business courses as well as technical specialisations such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, and industrial engineering.
